Computer Labs
St. George ’s College has two huge computer labs with brand new hp computers installed. The labs provide the latest facilities to our students.
Health Centre
The school has its own on-campus health centre which provides basic medical aid to the students. The school also has its own ambulance in case of emergencies or medical treatment beyond the scope of the health centre. A visiting doctor from Mussoorie also visits the school health centre.
24X7 High Speed Internet
The 24-hour lease-line connection with a speed of 2mbps is a new addition to our campus; students can access the internet during their scheduled timings.
Online Facilities For Parents
Any parent can access his/her child’s report card, disciplinary report, fee schedule, etc. on the school website. Every parent is given a separate account for his/her child.
Remedial classes for juniors
The remedial classes are now available for the juniors. The primary purpose for the introduction of this facility is to provide aid to all our weak students and help them excel in academics.
CCTV & LCD TV's
Cameras are placed all around the campus on various spots to ensure the safety of our students, and also to keep a close watch on them. All the classrooms are provided with large LCD Screens for the entertainment of the students, students can watch television during the allotted time.
Smart Cards
Smart cards serve the purpose of an Identity card and a debit card. The students use smart cards to access the canteen and the school stock (games and stationary).
24 Hour Electricity Backup
Electricity never goes out in the campus since there is a 24- hour back-up generator which takes 30 seconds to start as soon as the lights go off.
Gym/Health Club
A brand new gym with the latest machines and equipments is available for our students. The gym instructor, Mr. Sanjay Sehgal is there during the evening to provide proper training to students interested in fitness.
Indoor- heated Swimming Pool
Our school is in fact one of the few schools in Uttrakhand to have an indoor heated swimming pool. The swimming instructors coach the students and turn them into swift swimmers.
Multi-purpose Auditorium
The school auditorium serves the purpose of an indoor badminton court, an auditorium for functions and a theatre for movies which are screened on Saturdays and other special holidays.
School Stock (sports and stationary)
The school stock has all the necessities needed for daily use for our students. The stock has everything from sports equipment to toiletries and stationary items.
Canteen
The canteen is open everyday, during short breaks and in the evenings with a huge variety of food products including chocolates, juices, burgers, pizzas, momos and other mouth watering freshly cooked products.
Science labs
New science labs have been built with state-of-the-art facilities for all the science students. There are separate laboratories for physics, chemistry and biology.
Solar-powered water heaters
The dormitories have solar powered water heaters which have been installed so our students can bathe in hot water.
P.C.O./ Call Exchange
There is a phone call booth which is available incase our students need to call home, besides this, there is also a telephone exchange where parents can call their children on 4-5 different phone lines during weekends.
Bakery
The school has its own bakery and chappati machines. Chappati and bread are freshly made right before our meals.
Cobbler, Tailor, Barber
The cobbler and the tailor are available almost everyday for the students, The school also has a barber to ensure that the students maintain their personal hygiene.
